AIMEE HUCEK

Aimee received a BA from DePauw University and a BFA in Design from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. She also attended the Yale University summer design program in Brissago, Switzerland, studying with Paul Rand, Armin Hofmann and Richard Sapper, among others.

Aimee began her career in Minneapolis as a senior designer for a top Minneapolis design firm where she was responsible for the design of identity and marketing communications. Clients included Pillsbury and 3M as well as mid-size companies and arts organizations. Aimee worked on a team that developed the identity, branding, signage and print collateral for MeritCare Health System, the largest healthcare provider in North Dakota.

She continues her design career in the Chicago area, where she has established her own firm, Aimee Hucek Design. Aimee specializes in all forms of print communications from business cards to billboards.

Since 2004 Aimee has been designing cards for the Museum of Modern Art’s Holiday Card collection. She has also won design awards from the American Institute of Graphic Arts, the Society of Typographic Arts and the Printing Industries of America.
